Tetrad has announced a significant new chapter in its history following the successful completion of a management buyout (MBO), with the business now under the ownership of its existing Directorship team alongside key industry figures.
The new ownership group includes Chris Fletcher (Managing Director), Luke Stenchion (Finance Director), Ryan McNeish (Creative Consultant), and previous owner Janus Cooper, who together hold overall control. They are supported by a consortium of additional investors, providing the business with a strong platform for future growth.
The management buyout is backed with significant investment, enabling Tetrad to build on its existing success while accelerating future opportunities across product development, manufacturing and the continued growth of the brand.
Chris Fletcher comments: “This marks a hugely exciting new chapter for Tetrad after a challenging few years within the Belfield group. The investment and new ownership give us the confidence and freedom to accelerate our ambitions while staying true to the values that have defined the business for decades.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our customers, suppliers and our dedicated team, whose commitment has helped us reach this point. Together, we look forward to building on Tetrad’s reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, quality and design, while creating exciting new opportunities for the future.”
The transaction also includes Clinchplain Foam & Fibre, which will continue to operate within its existing structure and leadership. As part of the transaction, the previous private equity backer Blandford Capital has exited, with the new ownership structure providing Tetrad with a long-term, independent platform for continued investment and growth.
