New for 2026: Where the Season is Heading

Good interiors follow a mood, and this collection has been built to read it. Fourteen new ranges and ninety-five colourways trace the currents shaping how people want to live, turned into floors that feel of the moment without reaching for novelty.

Texture leads the conversation this year, and it carries through the whole range. Apollo makes the point with a high and low pile that plays with light, Havana brings a textured geometric surface, and Nova builds depth through a multi textured, high density weave. The flat, one note rug is giving way to floors you want to touch.

Natural fibre is making a quiet comeback too, and wool is firmly back in favour. Arcadia and Quartz keep things pure with wool flat weaves, while Vesper and Suzani step up to a richer 80 percent wool blend that feels wonderfully soft and substantial underfoot.

Then there is the idea that has grown into a design language all its own: washability. Together, Bohemia and Heirloom add fifteen fully washable colourways in florals and traditional motifs that look considered rather than clinical. Easy living no longer means settling for less on style.

Colour is where the mood is clearest. Warm, grounded tones set the pace, with rust, teal, gold and layered multi shades running through Vesper and Bohemia and echoing the wider shift towards richer, more enveloping rooms. Neutrals still do the anchoring, only warmer now, in cream, beige and soft grey.

Style, meanwhile, is heading two ways at once. On the modern side there are pared back, linear looks in Drift, Brixton, Camden and Laguna, and on the traditional side, florals in Kingsley and classic motifs made for rooms that want a sense of story.

If there is one trend showing no sign of slowing, it is the traditional. Its appeal has grown steadily year on year, and 2026 embraces it wholeheartedly, with florals, classic motifs and heritage patterns running through Kingsley, Bohemia, Heirloom and Suzani. These are rugs with warmth, character and a real sense of story, and their popularity only continues to build.

None of it stays behind closed doors. The launch arrives alongside a brand new Think Rugs website, rebuilt from the ground up to show the collection at its best. Cleaner navigation, richer photography and full room settings let every range be seen as it should be, on a phone just as easily as at a desk.

Behind it sits something built purely for our trade partners: a high specification B2B portal. It puts live stock, simple online ordering and full order tracking in one place, with product data and marketing imagery ready to drop into your own channels. Less time chasing information, more time selling.
