Independent furniture business Sofa King Comfy has announced its official launch following the opening of a store in Maldon.
Situated on Maldon High Street, Sofa King Comfy, which is run by Steven White and his nephew Sam White, officially opened the new store on 7 August 2026.
Commenting on the launch, the business said: “Months of planning, countless decisions, and carefully hand-picking every sofa, bed, and accessory have all led us to this moment.
“Starting a new business is both exciting and challenging, and we truly couldn’t have got this far without all of your support.
“Whether you’ve followed our journey on social media, liked and shared our posts, or simply stopped outside the shop to wish us well or comment on how it’s coming along – every single message, conversation, and word of encouragement has meant the world to us.
“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors, show you everything we’ve been working so hard on, and hopefully help you find something you’ll love for your home.”
