Furniture retailer Loaf has reported a decline in sales and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the period ended 31 December 2025, total sales fell to £66m from £66.4m in 2024.
Underlying EBITDA resulted at £2.5m, down from £4.4m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £275,000, down from £2m year-on-year.
Stated within its report, Loaf said: “The company faced headwinds during the year, as cautious consumer spending drove further softening in demand for high ticket items, and competitors discounted heavily to capture demand.
“As such, sales orders for the year decreased by 5% to £66 million. Nevertheless, the company continued to invest for the long term in the business, product range and channels.”
