As Staingard marks its 20th anniversary, the company is celebrating two decades of innovation, trusted partnerships and continued growth while looking ahead with the success of its Protect6 furniture care programme.
Founded in 2006 by Managing Director Paul Aiston, Staingard has grown into one of the UK’s leading furniture care specialists, supporting retailers, manufacturers and consumers with protection plans, aftercare products and customer service solutions.
The anniversary year began at the January Furniture Show, where the team reflected on the company’s journey and its continued commitment to helping retailers enhance the customer experience.
A major focus for 2026 is Protect6, Staingard’s innovative furniture care proposition. Developed to meet the changing needs of today’s furniture market, Protect6 offers retailers greater flexibility while giving consumers a simple, transparent protection plan that delivers genuine peace of mind.
Unlike many furniture care programmes that offer a maximum of five years’ cover, Protect6 extends protection to six years, providing customers with an additional year of reassurance while helping retailers increase the value of every furniture purchase. The programme has also been designed to allow retailers to retain control of their pricing and margins, creating a flexible solution that supports long-term profitability.

Alongside Protect6, Staingard continues to offer a comprehensive range of furniture care products, including Care Kits, Mattress Protectors and specialist aftercare solutions, supported by personalised branding and point-of-sale materials that help retailers strengthen customer engagement and generate additional revenue.
Partnership has remained at the heart of the business throughout its 20-year history. Staingard works closely with retailers and manufacturers across the UK, providing training, claims management, aftersales support and customer service designed to deliver a seamless ownership experience. This collaborative approach has helped build long-term relationships based on trust, service and shared success.
The company’s expertise has also supported expansion into complementary sectors through Gliptone, its specialist automotive leather care brand, and WeFill, its fulfilment and logistics business, allowing Staingard to apply its customer care and service expertise across multiple industries.
People continue to be central to the company’s success. As a family-run business, Staingard remains committed to teamwork, long-term relationships and delivering consistently high levels of service for both retailers and consumers.

This commitment has been recognised during its anniversary year when Staingard was named Best Furniture Care Provider at the Big Furniture Awards 2026. National Sales Manager Robert Jones said: “As we celebrate 20 years of protecting and caring for customers’ furniture, we are incredibly proud to receive this award. We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us and, above all, our customers and retail partners for their continued trust and support.”
Looking ahead, Staingard continues to invest in innovation, digital solutions and environmentally responsible products that help retailers improve profitability while enhancing the customer experience.
Twenty years on from its founding, the company’s focus remains unchanged: supporting retailers, protecting consumers’ furniture investments and delivering exceptional service through products that continue to evolve with the needs of the industry.
